Man-made refuge created for River Wear flood-risk fish

Following-on from the well-attended River Wear Fisheries Angling Workshop, organised by the Environment Agency and held at St Aidans’s College, Durham, back in February, the creation of a fish refuge on the river just outside of the city has been announced.
